We had the tracker out to verify whether George was in Falls Church--and did not get a positive track. There is certainly another dog loose in Falls Church. It could be George, but it could also be a different dog--we had one sighting in Falls Church and another in Springfield on Friday.
Here's what the Falls Church sighting said:
"I think I might have seen this dog around 11pm tonight near the entrance to Jefferson District Park (approximate cross streets are Lee Highway and Hyson Lane in Falls Church). It was dark, so I can't be sure it was an exact match, but I thought I saw a tri-colored dog about the size of a lab that seemed to be alone near the mailbox at the entrance to the park."
And the Springfield sighting:
"I was driving home Friday on Franconia Road between Van Dorn and Tellegraph, before 9 am...around some baseball fields,prior to reaching Rose Hill shopping Center where the McDonalds is, and I saw a dog along the road that looked like George."

George was spotted this morning by 3 different people in North Springfield near Inzer Street. Barb has all the details. She went out on the call along with the woman who was following him in her car but they lost him. This is definitly George.
