George went to the vet today and had a good visit. Here's what his mom, Barbara, had to say:
"Other than losing ten pounds and having a rash on his tummy and hind legs he's in great shape..... imagine that!
For the time being, he's on prednisone for the rash but has no fleas or ticks. I gave him a bath as soon as he got home and put flea stuff on him.
He's on a slip leash until I get a collar and the no-jump-harness is on the way. He'd love to be out in the yard without a leash so the harness will work great.
He goes for the second part of his flu shot in two weeks and I'll make arrangements for him to be chipped then."
It's such fun to think of George happy at home now, with his family, and no longer running around alone, cold, and having to actually work for his next meal!
